All Because Two People Fell in Love

John and I met at Texas Tech University in 2004 and we just clicked; he is by far the best thing that ever happened to me. We married in April 2010 and began praying faithfully that God would one day answer our prayers and would bless us with the opportunity of expanding our family. For the last 8+ years, it has been John, Jackson (our lab) and myself but we knew we wanted more. After years of "experiencing" life we decided it was time ..... Now, several months later we are expecting our first little one aka BEAN! We are beyond overjoyed and feel very blessed. This blog is to share the little moments as well as the big ones with our family and friends.

Showers and Celebrations

I feel so blessed and honored to have so many friends and family who not only love me but love little Miss Brooklyn already.

May 4th we had a Derby shower here in VA with a few of my church friends. We had an absolute blast and to top off the weekend... my Mom, Aunt and Cousin made a surprise visit!




May 17th we had another amazing shower in TX with friends and family. It was for sure another great weekend celebration. As most of you know, Tiffany (my oldest sister) is also expecting her first little one and Stacy (my middle sister) is engaged. We had a great weekend celebrating babies, weddings and spending time together. Our family has truly been blessed.



Just a few more days and were headed into week 30... until then.
