All Because Two People Fell in Love

John and I met at Texas Tech University in 2004 and we just clicked; he is by far the best thing that ever happened to me. We married in April 2010 and began praying faithfully that God would one day answer our prayers and would bless us with the opportunity of expanding our family. For the last 8+ years, it has been John, Jackson (our lab) and myself but we knew we wanted more. After years of "experiencing" life we decided it was time ..... Now, several months later we are expecting our first little one aka BEAN! We are beyond overjoyed and feel very blessed. This blog is to share the little moments as well as the big ones with our family and friends.

36 Week Appointment and Update

Only 4 weeks left until our due date and we couldn't be more excited and if I am being honest, a little nervous. We had a doctor's appointment Thursday... Brooklyn is still measuring on time, not dilated yet, head down and apparently not a small baby. The doctor did not mention how big she was measuring but mentioned during the exam that Brooklyn was by no means a small baby (still unsure what that means).

Anyway, we head back next week for another check up- yep, we are officially down to seeing the doctor every week now. In the meantime, John and I are busy finishing organizing the house and getting ready for our little one to arrive. The doctor says that if she doesn't come on her own by August 8th, then we will schedule induction for August 12th. I will know more as the days get closer and will try to keep everyone posted. Until next time....
